  1. Warmth - To have someone to snuggle up to in the winter
  2. Cooking - Avoid too many takeaways and junk food
  3. Support - Have a shoulder to cry on
  4. Holidays - Share holidays and travel
  5. Family - To have snotty little brats we all love to hate!
  6. Chat - To have a conversation with someone
  7. Vanity - Someone to tell you you’re lovely, even when you know you’re not
  8. Housework - So partner will do the washing up, laundry, vacuum  and dusting
  9. Money - Better standard of living (with two incomes)
  10. Love - Someone to love (instead of the dog or cat)
  11. Caring - Have someone to care for
  12. Winter - Something to do on those cold winter nights!
  13. Sad Git - So you get an extra Birthday and Christmas card
  14. Social - Extended family and social circle, by sharing your friends
  15. Friends - You can dump your boring single friends ... Only kidding!
  16. Emergencies - There’s some to dial 999 then you collapse in a drunken stupor
